IntelliExtract - Introduction

IntelliExtract enables information vendors to create intelligent databases out of extracted pieces of text from any given information source - be it web pages or other textual information source.

IntelliExtract goes beyond the conventional screen scraping solutions. It owes intelligence to its in-built text analysis capabilities and is powered by Textual Analytics Solutions' (TAS) "Information Profiling Technology Platform". The key feature of IntelliExtract is ability to extract similar "information types" from multiple websites.

Unlike screen scraping or wrappers, TAS's analysis-driven extraction of specific information from a given piece of text means higher precision in extraction. It can handle different file formats, information types and sources. TAS technology can extract named entities, ideas, concepts, associations and relationships which can be directly transferred to a database.
